The townie has been designed for great weight distribution (note the battery location), easy to get on-and-off, and with a thumb throttle that delivers full power whenever you need it. The battery is very easy to remove. Every townie also comes with a chain guard so that your clothes don't get caught in the chain. The protective derailleur guard ensures that if your bike tips over, your derailleur won't suffer expensive damage.
